The deal, which is pending the receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate, will see Dozzell join the Black-and-Red on July 1. He spent the last two seasons with Portsmouth FC, where he made 38 appearances and contributed two goals and one assist in the 2025-2026 season. Prior to his time at Portsmouth, Dozzell played for Queens Park Rangers, where he had a solid run, making 98 appearances. His career began at Ipswich Town Academy, where he was recognized as the Academy Player of the Year in the 2015-2016 season. With a rich background in youth international football, including a UEFA European U-19 Championship win, Dozzell is poised to make a significant impact at DC United.
